Report: Cabinet Secretly Approved Dozens of New Settlements, Outpost Funding
According to a media report, two recent cabinet decisions on Judea and Samaria were kept confidential until now.
According to the report, in March the cabinet decided to establish 34 new settlements as part of a broader plan covering 103 locations. In June, a further decision reportedly allocated around NIS 1.3 billion to fund pioneer neighborhoods in these areas. The report states the decisions were kept confidential due to political sensitivity vis-à-vis the US administration, with additional approval expected soon. No official details on the exact locations have been confirmed yet.
What this means for land buyers
If confirmed and officially published, these decisions could open new avenues for land purchase and self-build projects in areas not yet formally recognized as settlements. Buyers should wait for official Civil Administration and government publications before making investment decisions, as this is currently based on media reporting only.
